Case Study - Account Updater

 

Merchant Profile

Merchant operates multiple gyms across the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario Canada.

The Challenge

Business was facing the challenge of clients cards on file constantly declining on recurring payment cycles for monthly gym memberships. The merchant was spending large amounts of time calling clients individually to obtain updated card information each time membership dues were declined.

The Solution

Account Updater was proposed as a solution to decrease declined recurring payments for membership fees. The merchant was skeptical at first on how the service worked, but after providing additional statistics and information the merchant agreed to add this value added service to their merchant account.

The Results

The merchant now spends less time calling clients individually to obtain updated credit card credentials to process recurring payments. Through the use of Account Updater, their recurring declines have decreased by approximately 80%.

 

Case Study - Buy Button

 

Merchant Profile

A large law firm operating in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The Challenge

The business only accepted payments via cash or check and they were seeking innovative ways to seamlessly accept payments from their clients.

The Solution

The merchant integrated a buy button on their website allowing clients to make online payments. The merchant is also now able to leverage the buy button in a URL format allowing them to send a link for mobile payment via text message.

The Results

A recent account review was completed with the merchant and they are extremely satisfied with the updated payment options. Although they still accept a small number of checks, streamlining payments through Converge has allowed them to reconcile in a seamless manner instead of having to deposit checks manually.

 

Case Study - Buy Button

 

Merchant Profile

RV Park located in Santa Clara County, CA that has been in business for over 45 years.

The Challenge

Merchant was looking for a simple way for tenants to pay online, either with a credit card or a personal bank account. Visiting each customer on-site was not ideal to collect payments, they wanted to expand by adding a Pay Rent button to their website.

The Solution

The Converge pay now button along with the hosted payment page was presented. The simplicity of customizing the features so the tenants never have to leave the website was the deciding factor.

The Results

The merchant was impressed with how simple it was to create the buy button in addition to providing clients the option to pay rent by either a credit card or ACH.

 

Case Study - Converge API

 

Merchant Profile

Medical equipment client based in Chicago, IL. Merchant was sending out approximately 100 invoices monthly via their ERP system using saved credit card numbers.

The Challenge

The merchant had a cumbersome hand-keyed process prior to implementing online payment solutions. Additionally, they wanted to match live account data with Converge to provide invoice balances to their customers.

The Solution

Implemented Converge hosted payments with a custom API that would communicate with their server for live account balance that is linked to their invoice number generated via the NetSuite solution.

The Results

The Converge custom API provided the business with accurate, real-time account data that communicates with their NetSuite solution. They also find value in the Converge user dashboard for its easy user interface and ability to key in payments if needed.

 

Case Study - Billing and Invoicing

Growing family catering service in Van Nuys, California.

The Challenge

The merchant was looking for an alternative billing and invoicing solution to Stripe that would shorten the invoicing process and expedite receivables. With Stripe, the process starts by first sending a quote then waiting for the customer’s acceptance prior to forwarding a separate invoice. This process created a delay in account receivables.

The Solution

Converge Billing and Invoicing provided the ability to send quotes and once accepted they are converted automatically into an invoice that is ready for payment. This functionality allows customers to pay immediately and the merchant to receive funds quickly with Elavon Next Day Funding.

Case Study - Fast Track Funding

Merchant bills patients on behalf of medical providers for their services.

The Challenge

The merchant had multiple requirements to move their credit card processing business to Elavon, most significantly was the ability to receive funds in a timely manner. Due to the nature of their business, they typically reimburse medical providers within 24 hours of the payments being processed.

The Solution

Elavon’s Fast Track Funding gave the merchant predictable deposits for their transactions to enable on-time delivery of the payments to medical providers.

The Results

Merchant signed contracts with Elavon for 6 new accounts and additional ones on the horizon.

Merchant Profile

Merchant provides industrial supplies to other businesses.

The Challenge

Merchant has been with Elavon since 1996. The merchant was recently contacted by another merchant services provider and offered significant cost savings.

The Solution

Elavon’s Interchange Optimization saved the merchant approximately $45K annually.

The Results

The merchant choose to remain with Elavon due to the additional realized reveune due to Interchange Optimization.

 

Case Study - Omnicommerce

 

Merchant Profile

Medical Equipment client based in Melbourne, AUS with a USA affiliate. Merchant previously had three different accounts for accepting payments for eCommerce, mobile, and card present transactions.

The Challenge

The merchant had a data reconciliation issue across three different merchant accounts in addition to not having a way to securely store customer card information.

The Solution

Merchant implemented an omnicommerce account for Converge hosted payments with a retail and mobile account in addition to Elavon Payments Insider reconciliation in order to solve the accounting challenges.

The Results

Merchant now uses one seamless solution with Converge. In addition, they added Converge Mobile for their trade shows as well as a mobile terminal for any walk-in business to their warehouse location. Implementing the robust reconciliation tool via Payments Insider helped their accounting staff save time on manual reconciliation thus focusing on other areas to help grow their business.
